KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia will increase the number of daily flights to destinations such as Johor Baru, Singapore, Penang and Kuching for the coming Chinese New Year.
The further flights are scheduled between January 28 and 5 February next year as the low-cost carrier expects a surge of travellers throughout the celebrations.
AirAsia is also saying a special promotion together with the airline’s double celebration of its 12th anniversary and “World’s Leading Low Cost Airline” award win at the recent 2013 World Travel Awards.
To celebrate this, the airline is providing flights with base fares from as low as RM30 (excluding airport tax and fuel surcharge) from Kuala Lumpur to international destinations like Bali,Macau, Kolkata, Banda Aceh, Hat Yai, Yangon and Guangzhou, and domestic destinations like Kuching and Johor Bahru.
The booking period for this promotion is from now until 15 December for the travel amount from January to 30 April, 2014.
